GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE® FAIR TRADE - Taste the Quality of Fair Trade!

I was recently sent complimentary coupons and samples of GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE® FAIR TRADE, as a BzzAgent. The flavors I received were: Vermont Country Blend, Colombian Fair Trade Select, Sumatran Reserve, and my favorite Wild Mountain Blueberry.

All of the coffees taste very good, I usually don't care for the darker brews, but these had a smooth taste, so I enjoyed them all. The best part however is that they are fair trade!! I love to buy fair trade whenever possible. Here is the link for info about the GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE® FAIR TRADE program, including videos with musicians Grace Potter and Michael Franti, on trips they took to Columbia and Sumatra to experience the benefits of fair trade.

I have not only learned a lot more about the benefits of buying fair trade, but also found a great tasting, affordable product too. This will now be my staple coffee. If you are like me, and love to buy fair trade, and having a good cup of coffee, give GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE® FAIR TRADE a try!

Benjamin Moore Aura® Interior Paint

I received the Benjamin Moore Aura® Interior Paint, complimentary as a BzzAgent. The sample was in the color simply white with eggshell finish. I was first impressed that the smell was not overwhelming. There was no need for a primer with this paint. I decided to repaint my bedroom wall, which suffered from water stains from using a window air conditioner all winter. The paint was very easy to use, no clumps, no streaking, it went in pretty even. I used 3 coats and can't see the water stains in most spots anymore, I am sure if I had used a little darker color, I would not be able to see any stains under the paint. The drying time was great in about an hour, I was able to rub the wall with no problems, it dried streak free and smooth.

I will be trying more colors to freshen up a couple of rooms for the holidays. I received a color swatch packet and there is a large variety of beautiful colors to choose from, I am eyeing the Kalamata and the Dinner Party, with others to follow after the holidays. I even received a coupon for a free gallon of paint.

I usually don't like painting due to the mess, but this paint has changed my mind, there was not much mess and easy to clean any splatters. Hurry over to their site and see what colors you want to try.

SMARTFOOD® SELECTS

I was sent some samples of the SMARTFOOD® Selects products complimentary from BzzAgent. I received the varieties, the Sour Cream Onion Flavored Puffed Corn, which was my favorite it was light, but the seasoning was so yummy, I have bought that again as my movie snack, like popcorn but no popcorn hulls. I also received the Cinnamon Brown Sugar Multigrain Popped Chips, I liked these alot also, and ate them with my afternoon cup of tea, I know it sounds weird, but it was delicious, like eating cinnamon toast. The final product I received was the Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Popped Chips, which was just ok for me, the flavor was not as good, as the other varieties.

All in all I really like this snack, and it is great for sharing with my toddler friends at church, since there is no choking hazard. This snack is usually in my purse to share or snack when I can't get to a meal, and they are very satisfying. There are no artificial flavors and no trans fat, this is definitely the snack for me. An extra perk is the resealable bag, so no crumbs in my purse.

I am looking forward to trying the other varieties soon, the Blueberry Almond Vanilla flavored Granola Coated Popcorn is calling my name! If you are looking for a healthier snack that has flavor and variety, I highly recommend you give Smartfood® Selects a try.

GLADE EXPRESSIONS® COLLECTION BzzCampaign!

<img src="https://img.bzzagent.com/image/gladeExpressions.jpg?Type=activity&Activity=9365102339&Campaign=5855213675&Uid=1350115&token=b6b22978338ea159178eb588bcbff969" alt=""/>

I received these products complimentary from BzzAgent, for my unpaid honest review.  The product is the Glade Expressions® Collection.  These are my initial views on the products:

I got the Oil diffuser starter kit, which has an oil bottle nestled inside a pretty decorative holder, the scent I chose was the Pineapple & Mangosteen.  I simply pushed a diffuser card into the oil bottle and within 5 minutes the scent was filling the room (love it!).

I also received the Fragrance Mist Starter Kit, in the scent Cotton & Italian Mandarin.  This is a bottle of liquid scent that sits in a pretty plastic container that looks like a vase, and you just squeeze it to release fragrance as needed. A little goes a long way with this, gives a quick fresh scent to rooms like the bathroom.

I love them both and I have lots of coupons to share with family and friends so that they can also experience the new Glade Expressions® Collection.

Contentment - Getcha some!

Contentment:
An internal satisfaction which does not demand changes in external circumstances

I am learning to walk in true contentment with God's guidance.  I have not worked in over two years, and to be honest, the longer I can't find a job the more my esteem has slipped.  I many times feel like I will never get a job again, and that my family will have to continue to struggle because of me.  If by chance I get I job, will my skills still be intact.  These questions often plague my mind in the quiet of doing nothing daily.  What do I do...I pray and God is showing me the good in my situation.  I am home to provide stability for my family, cooking good meals instead of us eating out 4 times a week due to my sheer exhaustion from working full time.  I am there when the kids leave to be sure they are dressed appropriately, are not forgetting anything and get out of the house on time.  When they get home I am there to greet them to hear how their day was and to be sure they don't spend the entire evening relaxing instead of studying.  I have more time for my husband because he is working as much overtime as possible to keep us afloat. I can wash clothes for him, have a meal ready when he gets home.  I am not saying that my house is always clean, some days I just sit here having a pity party until I surrender my thoughts to the Lord.  Now most days, I feel good about being here for my family and also with some health issues I have had, this time has been good for taking care of me and working my way back to full health, something I could not do while working every day.

What I am trying to say is I am learning contentment.  Happiness changes with my circumstances, if I don't get the job, if the bills seem insurmountable, if I did not clean the house today...then I am unhappy.  However, I am learning to be content, worrying won’t change anything, so why waste precious time.  I asked God for His will to be done, so now who am I to be upset.  God is teaching me to look at the good, enjoy what He has blessed me with, and in doing so, my health is better, my family is happier (in spite of money issues), things are in order as God wants them to be in my life, not my way but God’s way.

Like I said some days my enemy, the devil is trying to work my mind and give me the negative viewpoint on my life, but thanks be to God who always causes me to triumph.  I am content with every blessing, test, trial, victory, year, day that I experience.  This is my first blog and it was such a release, if just one other person can read this and walk in true contentment, then this entry was a success.

Philippians 4:6-8
6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
